Overview
The MX100 intelligent addressable photoelectric smoke detector is the ideal device for most applications due to its excellent linear response to various smoke patterns. The sensor’s sensitivity meets the requirements of EN 54 Part 7, the European standard. It boasts high aesthetics with a discreet design that complements modern building designs. The unit integrates an intelligent processor that provides algorithm mapping, an integrated A/D converter, drift compensation, and diagnostic and history logs.
Secure and fast communication through the integrated processor allows the sensor to make decisions independently, resulting in higher automation. In the event of a fire, the built-in microprocessor analyzes the signal based on factors such as signal strength and rate of increase, then verifies these patterns against pre-programmed fire scenarios and smoke patterns for a quicker and safer response. Once confirmed, the LED indicates the sensor status and simultaneously transmits the communication signal to the control panel. The MX100 sensor is compatible with the MX series intelligent analog fire alarm control panels, manufactured by a single manufacturer to avoid any compatibility issues.
